Barbados Community College Workshop

As part of their U.S. Embassy program in Barbados, the members of the Alejandro Aviles Jazz Quartet conducted a workshop Friday for 25 music students enrolled in the Associate Degree Program in Performing Arts at the Barbados Community College.

The group led the students in practical lessons in improvisation and imparted other musical echniques.
 

The students as well as their tutors were eager and attentive and participated fully in the two hour event. The program ended with the group and students joining together for a rousing "jam session".
