Medical Facilities and Physicians

The U.S. Embassy in Barbados maintains lists of medical facilities and physicians by country for American citizens needing medical care. The inclusion of a specific physician or medical facility does not constitute a recommendation and the Department of State assumes no responsibility or liability for the professional ability or reputation of, or the quality of services provided by, the medical professionals, medical facilities, or ambulance services whose names appear on such lists.  Professional credentials and areas of expertise are provided directly by the medical professional, medical facility, or ambulance service.

Travelers to the region are encouraged to visit the State Department's website for health information and a listing of air ambulance services.  Travelers are also encouraged to visit the website of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which maintains a page on regional travel within the Caribbean.
